Jayson Whitehouse

Positions: OF, P, 1B

Jayson attended Farmington High School from 2001-2004, where he led his baseball team to 3 Class M Finals, winning 2 titles.  He was named to 1st Team All State all four years.  Foster’s Daily Democrat named him Player of the Year in 2003 and 2004.  In 2004, Jayson participated in the NH/VT All-State Team Game. 

Jayson played Post 7 Legion Baseball for two seasons under Coach Hoyt.  He played in the Blue-Grey Classic Baseball Showcase, where he made the Northeast team and played in the National Tournament in Florida.  He was named the Louisville Slugger Player of the Year in 2004. 

Jayson attended Spartanburg Methodist Junior College in South Carolina where he played under Tim Wallace, a former teammate of Coach Hoyt’s in the Cardinal’s organization.  He was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 23rd round of the 2005 MLB June amateur draft.

Jayson has coached Mavericks for the past 5 years.  He was an assistant coach for 2 years and a head coach for 3 years.

He currently resides in Alton, NH with his wife, Sayre, and two boys, Colby Jay and Treyson Ray.
